अविद्या क्षेत्रमुत्तरेषां प्रसुप्ततनुविच्छिन्नोदाराणाम्।

Sutra 2.4
Avidhyā kṣhetram uttareṣhāṁ prasupta-tanuvicchinnodārāṇām

avidyā : ignorance, nescience
kṣhetraṁ : field [of growth]
uttareṣhāṁ : of the latter ones [divided into various stages]
pra-supta : [of] dormant
tanu : attenuated
vi-cchinna : counteracted [and]
udārāṇām : strongly active, extensive ones

Sutra Meaning :
Ignorance (avidyā) is the field of growth of the latter [four, asmitā and so forth]. [Further, they are divided into four states]: dormant, attenuated, counteracted and strongly active or extensive.

सूत्र २.४
अविद्याक्षेत्रमुत्तरेषां प्रसुप्ततनुविच्छिन्नोदाराणाम्।

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
अविद्या : अविद्या
क्षेत्रम् : प्रसवभूमि (मूल-कारण)
उत्तरेषाम् : जिनका वर्णन (अविद्या) के पश्चात् किया गया है (अर्थात्, अस्मितादि चारों क्लेश)
प्रसुप्त : प्रसुप्त
तनु : तनु
विच्छिन्नः : विच्छिन्न
उदाराणाम् : उदाराणाम् ॥

सूत्रार्थ
अविद्या ही अस्मिता, राग, द्वेष, और अभिनिवेश (इन चारों क्लेशों की) प्रसवभूमि (अर्थात्, मूल-कारण) है, और इनकी (इन चारों क्लेशों की) – प्रसुप्त, तनु, विच्छिन्न, तथा उदार (नामक) चार अवस्थायें (होती) हैं।

Sutra Meaning : 
L’ignoranza (avidyā) è il campo di crescita di questi ultimi [quattro, asmitā e così via]. [Inoltre, sono divisi in quattro stati]: dormienti, attenuati, contrastati e disconnessi e fortemente attivi o estensivi.

Sutra Meaning :
La ignorancia (avidyā) es el campo donde crecen las aflicciones y estas se manifiestan como durmientes, atenuadas, contrarrestadas y fuertemente activas.

 אי־ידיעה היא שדה [הגידול] של האחרים בין שהם רדומים, מוחלשים, חסומים או פעילים מאוד
