द्रष्टृदृश्ययोः संयोगो हेयहेतुः।
Draṣhṭṛ-draśyayoḥ saṁyogo heya-hetuḥ
Sutra 2.17
Draṣhṭṛ-draśyayoḥ saṁyogo heya-hetuḥ
draṣṭṛ : [of] seer, apprehender
dṛśhyayoḥ : [of] seen, seeable, apprehensible – of the seer and the seeable
saṁyogaḥ : union
heya : [of] preventable, rejectable
hetuḥ : cause
Sutra Meaning :
The cause of [pain that is] to be avoided and prevented is the union of the apprehender and the apprehensible.
सूत्र २.१७
द्रष्टृदृश्ययोः संयोगो हेयहेतुः।
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
द्रष्टृ + दृश्ययोः : द्रष्टा (पुरुष) एवं दृष्य (प्रकृति)
संयोगः : संयोग, या एकात्मता
हेय + हेतुः : दुःख का कारण (होता है)॥
सूत्रार्थ –
द्रष्टा (पुरुष) एवं दृष्य (प्रकृति) की एकात्मता या संयोग (ही) दुःख का कारण होता है॥
Sutra 2.17
Draṣhṭṛ-draśyayoḥ saṁyogo heya-hetuḥ
Sutra Meaning :
La causa del [dolore che è] da evitare e prevenire è l’unione tra colui che opera la comprensione e ciò che vuole essere compreso (che si sta comprendendo).

draṣṭṛ: quien observa, quien percibe
dṛśhyayoḥ: lo percibido, lo visto, objeto observado
saṁyogaḥ: unión
heya: prevenible
hetuḥ: causa
Sutra Meaning :
La causa de todo sufrimiento, que puede ser prevenida y evitada, es la unión de quien percibe con lo que se percibe.
Sutra 2.17
Draṣhṭṛ-draśyayoḥ saṁyogo heya-hetuḥ
הסיבה [לסבל], שיש להתגבר עליה, היא החיבור לכאורה בין הרואה לנראה
YOGA is a gradual transition from becoming to BEING, a journey from constantly striving and transforming to a state of PRESENCE & STILLNESS.
