अविद्यास्मितारागद्वेषाभिनिवेशाः क्लेशाः।

Sutra 2.3
Avidhyā’smitā-rāga-dveṣhābhiniveśhāḥ kleśhāḥ

avidyā : ignorance, nescience
asmitā : ‘I-am-ness”
raga : attraction, attachment
dveṣha : aversion
abhi-ni-veśhāḥ : the obsession that causes fear of separation from the body, fixation for body-continuity, fear of death
pancha : five
kleśāḥ : afflictions, painful impurities, keśhas

Sutra Meaning :

Ignorance, ‘I-am-ness’, atraction, aversion and fear of death are the five afflictions (kleśas).

सूत्र २.३
अविद्यास्मितारागद्वेषाभिनिवेशाः पञ्च क्लेशाः।

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
अविद्या : अविद्या
अस्मिता : अस्मिता
राग : राग
द्वेष : द्वेष
अभिनिवेशाः : (और) अभिनिवेश
पञ्च : (ये) पाँच
क्लेशाः : क्लेश होते हैं॥

सूत्रार्थ
अविद्या, अस्मिता, राग, द्वेष, और अभिनिवेश (अर्थात्, मृत्यु का भय) ये पाँच क्लेश होते हैं॥

Avidhyā’smitā-rāga-dveṣhābhiniveśhāḥ pancha kleśhāḥ

Sutra Meaning : 
L’ignoranza, il senso dell’Io, l’attrazione, l’avversione ed il pensiero ridondante ciclico che culmina nella paura della morte sono le cinque afflizioni (kleśas).

asmitā :
ego, noción del yo
rāga :
apego, atracción
dveṣha :
aversión
abhi-ni-veśhāḥ :
miedo obsesivo a la muerte, miedo a separarse del cuerpo físico.
pañcha :
cinco
kleśāḥ :
aflicciones, impurezas que provocan sufrimiento

Sutra Meaning :
La ignorancia, el ego, el apego, la aversión y el miedo obsesivo a la muerte son las cinco aflicciones (kleśas).

חמשת המכאובים הם אי־ידיעה, ‘הנני-יות’, השתוקקות, סלידה ורצון לחיות
