Sutra 2.16
Heyaṁ duḥkham anāgatam

heyaṁ :
To be rejected, discarded, avoided, prevented; worthy of being rejected, discarded, avoided, prevented; avoidable, preventable
duḥkhaṁ : sorrow, pain, suffering
an-āgatam : that which has not yet arrived; the one in the future

Sutra Meaning : 
Future suffering is worthy to be avoided and, not having arrived yet, can be prevented.

सूत्र २.१६
हेयं दुःखमनागतम्।

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
हेयं : त्याज्य (नष्ट करने योग्य)
दुःखम् : दुःख
अनागतम् : जो अभी आया नहीं है ॥

सूत्रार्थ
जो दुःख अभी आया नहीं है वह नष्ट करने योग्य है । अर्थात्, भविष्यत्कालिक दुःख जो अभी प्राप्त नही हुआ है, उसे ही दूर किया (या उससे ही बचा) जा सकता है।

Sutra Meaning : 
La sofferenza futura è degna di essere evitata e, non essendo ancora arrivata, può essere prevenuta.

heyaṁ: ser rechazada, descartada, evitada, prevenible
duḥkhaṁ: dolor, sufrimiento
an-āgatam: aquello que aún no llega, algo del futuro.

Sutra Meaning :
Vale la pena y es posible excitar el sufrimiento futuro, al no haber sucedido aún.
