तदर्थ एव दृश्यस्यात्मा।

Tad-arth eva dṛśhyasyātmā
tad-arthaḥ : for the purpose of that
eva : only
dṛśhyasya : of the apprehensible
ātmā : nature, being, essence, self
Sutra Meaning :
The self of the objects of perception exists only for the purpose of
that [seer].
सूत्र २.२१
तदर्थ एव दृश्यस्यात्मा।
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
तद् + अर्थः : उस द्रष्टा (अर्थात्, पुरुष) के लिये
एव : ही
दृश्यस्य + आत्मा : दृश्य का स्वरूप (होता) है॥
सूत्रार्थ –
उस द्रष्टा (अर्थात्, पुरुष) के लिये ही दृश्य का स्वरूप (अस्तित्व होता) है॥ अथवा – (उपरोक्त) दृश्य का स्वरूप (अस्तित्व) उस द्रष्टा (अर्थात्, पुरुष) के लिये ही (होता) है।

Il sé degli oggetti della percezione esiste solo allo scopo di questo [osservatore/forza osservante/osservazione].

dṛśhyasya: de lo percibible, de lo aprehensible
ātmā: naturaleza, ser, esencia, el ser
Sutra Meaning :
Lo que es percibido (mundo material) existe sólo para la experiencia de quien observa (el Ser).
