Sutra 2.32

शौचसंतोषतपः स्वाध्यायेश्वरप्रणिधानानि नियमाः।

Śhaucha-santoṣha-tapaḥ-svādhyāyeśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni niyamāḥ

 


Sutra 2.32
Śhaucha-santoṣha-tapaḥ-svādhyāyeśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni niyamāḥ

śhaucha :
(mental) purity; (physical) cleanliness
santoṣha : contentment
tapas : ascesis, ascetic endeavour, ascetic practise
svādhyāya : self-study; japa (silent recitation of mantras)
iśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni : [and] surrender to God
ni-yamāḥ : [are the] ni-yamas (restraints and disciplines)

Sutra Meaning : 
These are the five niyamas (restraints and disciplines): mental purity and physical cleanliness, contentment, ascetic practice, selfstudy of inspiring texts and japa, and surrender to God.

सूत्र २.३२
शौचसंतोषतपःस्वाध्यायेश्वरप्रणिधानानि नियमाः।

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
शौच : शौच
संतोष : संतोष
तपस् : तपस्
स्वाध्याय : स्वाध्याय
ईश्वरप्रणिधानानि : (और) ईश्वरप्रणिधान
नियमाः : नियम हैं॥

सूत्रार्थ
शौच, संतोष, तपस्, स्वाध्याय, और ईश्वरप्रणिधान (ये पाँच) नियम हैं।

Śhaucha-santoṣha-tapaḥ-svādhyāyeśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni niyamāḥ

Sutra Meaning : 
Questi sono i cinque Niyama (restrizioni e discipline): purezza mentale e pulizia fisica, appagamento, pratica ascetica, studio di sé attraverso testi ispiratori e japa e abbandono a una realtà migliorativa (Dio).

śhaucha: pureza mental, limpieza física
santoṣha: contentamiento, alegría, regocijo
tapas: ascetismo, práctica ascética
svādhyāya: estudio personal, japa, recitacion silenciosa de mantras
iśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni: [y] entrega/devoción a Dios
ni-yamāḥ: [son las] ni-yamas (disciplinas)

Sutra Meaning :
Estas son las cinco niyamas (disciplinas): (śhaucha) pureza y limpieza mental y física, (santoṣha) contentamiento/alegría, (tapas) ascetismo, (svādhyāya) estudio personal de los textos y japa y (iśhvara-pra-ṇi-dhānāni) entrega a Dios.

 אלה הם הסייגים הפנימיים: טהרה, שביעות רצון, אימון מחמם (tapas),  לימוד עצמי והתמסרות לאדון הכול
