Dhāraṇāsu cha yogyatā manasaḥ
dhāraṇāsu : in matters of holding a focus, in practicing the dhāraṇās,
cha : and
yogyatā : fitness, attaining qualification, capability
manasaḥ : of the mind
Sutra Meaning :
[Through prāṇāyāma] there also develops the capacity and fitness for holding a focus in the matter of practicing dhāraṇās.
सूत्र २.५३
धारणासु च योग्यता मनसः।
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
धारणासु : धारणाओं में
च : और (प्रकाश पर पड़े आवरण की क्षीणता के साथ-साथ)
योग्यता : योग्यता (सामर्थ्य)
मनसः : मन की॥
सूत्रार्थ –
और (प्रकाश पर पड़े आवरण की क्षीणता के साथ-साथ) धारणाओं में मन की योग्यता (अर्थात्, क्षमता या सामर्थ्य) (उत्पन्न) होती है।

[Attraverso prāṇāyāma] si sviluppa anche la capacità e l’idoneità a mantenere un focus sulla pratica dei dhāraṇā.

Sutra Meaning :
[A través de prāṇāyāma] se desarrolla también la capacidad y aptitud para mantener el enfoque en la práctica de dhāraṇā.
