Pratyakṣānumāna-agamāḥ pramāṇāni
pratyakṣha : direct perception
anumāna : inference
āgamāḥ : and (textual, scriptural, inspired, revealed) authority
pramāṇāni : proofs
Sutra Meaning :
Direct perception, inference and revealed authority are the three categories of the vṛtti called valid proof (pramāṇa).
सूत्र १.७
प्रत्यक्षानुमानागमाः प्रमाणानि
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
प्रत्यक्ष : ऐन्द्रिय
अनुमान : तर्क
आगम : शाब्द (ये तीन प्रमाण वृत्तियाँ हैं)।
सूत्रार्थ –
प्रत्यक्ष या इन्द्रियजन्य, अनुमान या तर्कजन्य, आगम : शब्दजन्य (ये तीन प्रमाण वृत्तियाँ होती हैं)।

Pratyakṣānumāna-agamāḥ pramāṇāni
pratyaksha : percezione diretta
anumana : inferenza o logico deduzione
agamah : testimonianza autorevole (la modificazione che intercorre nel campo mentale del ricevente quando una autorevolezza si manifesta)
pramanani : validazioni corrette
Sutra Meaning :
La percezione diretta, l’inferenza e la testimonianza (autorità rivelata) sono le tre categorie della vṛtti chiamata prova valida o validazione corretta (pramāṇa).

anumāna- : inferencia
āgamāḥ: autoridad/legitimidad (textual, inspirada, revelada)
pramāṇāni : medio de conocimiento correcto, pruebas válidas
Sutra Meaning :
La percepción directa, la inferencia y la autoridad/legitimidad de las escrituras y revelaciones de maestros son las tres categorías de vṛtti que son medios de conocimiento correctos (pramāṇa).
