विपर्ययो मिथ्याज्ञानमतद्रूपप्रतिष्ठम्।

Sutra 1.8
Viparyayo mithyā-jñānam a-tadrūpa-pratiṣṭham

viparyayaḥ : perversive cognition
mithyā-jnānam : false knowledge
a-tad-rūpa : not in the nature, form, of that (object)
pratiṣhṭham : established

Sutra Meaning :  
False knowledge without a basis in the nature or form of the respective object is the vṛtti called perversive cognition (viparyaya). 

सूत्र १.८
विपर्ययो मिथ्याज्ञानमतद्रूपप्रतिष्ठम्

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
विपर्ययः : विपर्यय
मिथ्या + ज्ञान : मिथ्याज्ञान
‌+ तद + रूप : उस (वस्तु) के स्वरूप में नहीं
प्रतिष्ठम् : प्रतिष्ठित या स्थित॥

सूत्रार्थ –
विपर्यय मिथ्याज्ञान है, जो कि उस वस्तु (जिस वस्तु का ज्ञान हो रहा है) के स्वरूप में प्रतिष्ठित नही होता है। या, (ज्ञेय वस्तु से) भिन्न रूप में प्रतिष्ठित मिथ्याज्ञान विपर्यय (कहा जाता) है।

falsa conoscenza

non nella natura, non nella forma
pratishtham :

Sutra Meaning :
La conoscenza falsa senza una base nella natura o forma dell’oggetto rispettivo è la vṛtti chiamata cognizione perversa (viparyaya).

viparyayaḥ: concepto erróneo, conocimiento incorrecto, percepción equivocada, malentendido.
mithyā-jñānam: conocimiento erróneo
a-tad-rūpa-: no en la naturaleza o forma del (objeto)
pratiṣhṭham: establecido

Sutra Meaning :  
El conocimiento falso, no establecido en la naturaleza o forma del objeto es el conocimiento erróneo (viparyaya).

מחשבה מוטעית היא ידע שגוי, שאינו מבוסס על צורת [הדבר]
