तासामनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात्।
Tāsām anāditvaṁ cāśhiṣho nityatvāt
Sutra 4.10
Tāsām anāditvaṁ cāśhiṣho nityatvāt
tāsāṁ : of those (vasanas)
an-āditvaṁ : no beginning
āśhiśhaḥ : of expectation
nityatvāt : because of being permanent
Sutra Meaning :
Because expectations are beginningless (in a being) the vāsanās also are beginningless.
सूत्र ४.१०
तासामनादित्वं चाशिषो नित्यत्वात्॥१०॥
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
तासाम् – उन (वासनाओं) की
अनादित्वं + च : अनादिता भी है;
आशिषः + नित्यत्वात् : (प्राणीयों में) अपने बनें रहने इच्छा नित्य होने से॥
सूत्रार्थ –
उन (वासनाओं) की अनादिता भी (सिद्ध हो जाती) है; (प्राणीयों में) अपने बनें रहने इच्छा नित्य होने से।

Poiché le aspettative sono senza inizio (in un essere) anche i vāsanā (le propensioni) sono senza inizio.
