Hānam eṣhāṁ kleśhavad-uktam
hānaṁ : prevention, discarding
eṣhāṁ : of these
kleśha-vat : like (that of) kleshas
uktaṁ : is said, explained
Sutra Meaning :
The prevention and discarding of these (intervening thoughts) is to be understood like that of the kleshas (II.10, 11).
सूत्र ४.२८
हानमेषां क्लेशवदुक्तम्॥२८॥
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
हानम् + एषाम् : इन (व्युत्थान संस्कारों) का (भी) विनाश (दग्धबीज भाव)
क्लेशवत् : क्लेशों के समान (ही)
उक्तम् : कहा गया है॥
सूत्रार्थ –
इन (व्युत्थान संस्कारों) का (भी) विनाश (दग्धबीज भाव) क्लेशों के समान (ही) कहा गया है।

La prevenzione e l’eliminazione di questi (pensieri intermedi) è da intendersi come quella dei klesha (cause delle afflizioni dello spettro di osservazione) (II.10, 11).
