Sutra 3.11

सर्वार्थतैकाग्रातयोः क्षयोदयौ चित्तस्य समाधिपरिणामः

Sarvārthataikāgratayoḥ kṣhayodayau cittasya samādhi-pariṇāmaḥ

 


Sutra 3.11
Sarvārthataikāgratayoḥ kṣhayodayau cittasya samādhi-pariṇāmaḥ

sarvārthatā : (of) scattered habit, omnipurpose, having all objects and purposes, (and)
ekāgratayoḥ : intent state, one pointedness, respectively
kṣhaya : subsiding (and)
udaya : rising (is called)
cittasya : the mind-field’s
samādhi-pariṇāmaḥ : turning, alteration, to a state of harmony, samādhi

Sutra Meaning : 
When the mind-field’s scattered habit subsides and the intent state is on the rise, that is then called the mind-field’s turning into samādhi.

 

सूत्र ३.११
सर्वार्थतैकाग्रतयोः क्षयोदयौ चित्तस्य समाधिपरिणामः

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
सर्वार्थता
: अनेकाग्रता (अर्थात्, चित्त की अनेक विषयों में प्रवृत्त होने की प्रवृत्ति) (और)
एकाग्रतयोः : एकाग्रता (अर्थात्, एक ही विषय में बने रहने की प्रवृत्ति)
क्षय : तिरोभाव
उदय : प्रादुर्भाव
चित्तस्य : चित्त का
समाधि + परिणामः : समाधि परिणाम है॥

सूत्रार्थ –
चित्त की अनेक विषयों में प्रवृत्त होने की प्रवृत्ति का तिरोभाव और एक ही विषय में बने रहने की प्रवृत्ति का प्रादुर्भाव; चित्त का समाधि परिणाम है॥

Sutra 3.11

sarvārthatā: (di) abitudine dispersa, onnipurpose, avente tutti gli oggetti e scopi (e)
ekāgratayoḥ: stato intento, unipuntualità, rispettivamente
kṣhaya: subsidenza (e)
udaya: sorgere (è chiamato)
cittasya: del campo mentale
samādhi-pariṇāmaḥ: mutamento, alterazione, verso uno stato di armonia, samādhi

Sutra meaning :
La dissoluzione delle modificazioni della mente e l’emergere della sua natura univoca si ottengono tramite la trasformazione verso la concentrazione.

Sutra meaning :
הזרימה הרגועה של זו [נובעת] מהטבעות [הבלימה] ‏תהליך ההשתנות על ידי סמאדהי הוא כאשר בתודעה [תשומת הלב] לכל המטרות נחלשת והמיקוד עולה
