प्रवृत्त्यालोकन्यासात् सूक्ष्मव्यवहितविप्रकृष्टज्ञानम्

Sutra 3.25
Pravṛtty-āloka-nyāsāt sūkṣhma-vyavahitaviprakṛṣhṭa-jnānam

pravṛtti : natural concentration on sense-objects
āloka : light
nyāsāt : by placing, assigning, projecting
sūkṣhma : (of) subtle, fine
vyavahita : hidden
viprakṛṣhṭa : distant
jnānam : knowledge

Sutra Meaning : 
By projecting (to all things) the light of pravṛtti (Sutras I.35-36) (the yogi gains) the knowledge of (things that are) subtle, hidden or distant.

सूत्र ३.२५
प्रवृत्त्यालोकन्यासात् सूक्ष्मव्यवहितविप्रकृष्टज्ञानम्

पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
प्रवृत्ति
+ आलोक + न्यासात् : (समाधिपादोंक्त ज्योतिष्मती) प्रवृत्ति के प्रकाश को (तत्तद् ज्ञेय विषयों में) स्थापित करने से
सूक्ष्म : सूक्ष्म
व्यवहित : व्यवधानयुक्त
विप्रकृष्ट : (तथा) दूरस्थ (वस्तुओं का)
ज्ञानम् : ज्ञान होता है॥

सूत्रार्थ –
(समाधिपादोक्त ज्योतिष्मती) प्रवृत्ति के प्रकाश को (तत्तद् ज्ञेय विषयों में) स्थापित करने से, सूक्ष्म, व्यवधानयुक्त, तथा दूरस्थ वस्तुओं का ज्ञान होता है।

Sutra meaning :
Proiettando (a tutte le cose) la luce di pravṛtti (Sutra I.35-36) (lo yogi guadagna) la conoscenza delle (cose che sono) sottili, nascoste o distanti.
