
Sutra 3.35
सत्त्वपुरुषयोरत्यंतासंकीर्णयोः प्रत्ययाविशेषो भोगः परार्थत्वात् स्वार्थसंयमात् पुरुषज्ञानम्
Sattva-puruṣhayor-atyantāsaṁkīrṇayoḥ pratyayāviśheṣho bhogaḥ parārthat svārthasaṁyamāt puruṣha-jnānam
Sutra 3.35
Sattva-puruṣhayor-atyantāsaṁkīrṇayoḥ pratyayāviśheṣho bhogaḥ parārthat svārthasaṁyamāt puruṣha-jnānam
sattva : (of) mental personality (and)
puruṣhayoḥ : Conscious Principle
atyanta : totally
a-saṁkīrṇayoḥ : separate, not commingled (when there is (a conception of) non-distinction between the mental personality and the Conscious Principle (which are in fact)) totally separate.)
pratyaya : (of) awareness, cognition
a-bhedaḥ : non-distinction
bhogaḥ : (is called) experience
parārthat : because of being the object of the other
svārtha : what is (the Conscious Principle’s) own (awareness)
saṁyamāt : through concentration
puruṣha : (of) Conscious Principle
jnānam : knowledge, realisation
Sutra Meaning :
When there is (a conception of) non-distinction between the mental personality and the Conscious Principle, (which are, in fact) totally distinct (and not at all commingling, that is called) experience because of the sattva, mental personality, being the object of the other. By samyama on what is the awareness of the Conscious Principle itself, there arises the realization of the
Conscious Principle.
सूत्र ३.३५
सत्त्वपुरुषयोरत्यन्तासंकीर्णयोः प्रत्ययाविशेषो भोगः परार्थात्स्वार्थसंयमात्पुरुषज्ञानम्
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
सत्त्व + पुरुषयोः : बुद्धिसत्व और पुरुष
अत्यन्त + असंकीर्णयोः : दोनों परस्पर अत्यन्त भिन्न हैं
प्रत्यय + अविशेषः : इन दोनों का अभेद ज्ञान
भोगः : भोग कहलाता है
परार्थात् : (जो कि बुद्धि की) परार्थता के कारण (होता है)
स्वार्थ + संयमात् : (इससे भिन्न जो) स्वार्थ (पुरुषवस्तुक प्रतीति) में संयम करने से
पुरुष + ज्ञानम् : पुरुष के स्वरूप का ज्ञान होता है॥
सूत्रार्थ –
बुद्धिसत्व और पुरुष दोनों परस्पर अत्यन्त भिन्न हैं, इन दोनों का अभेद ज्ञान भोग कहलाता है। (जो कि बुद्धि की) परार्थता के कारण (होता है), (इससे भिन्न जो) स्वार्थ (अर्थात्, पुरुषवस्तुक प्रतीति) में संयम करने से पुरुष के स्वरूप का ज्ञान होता है।

Sutra meaning :
Quando c’è (una concezione di) non-distinzione tra la personalità mentale e il Principio Cosciente, (che sono, in effetti) totalmente distinti (e non fusi,è chiamata ) esperienza a causa di sattva, in quanto personalità mentale, essendo l’oggetto dell’altro. Con Samyama su quale sia la consapevolezza del Principio Cosciente stesso, sorge la realizzazione del Principio Cosciente.

בלב – הבנת התודעה
התנסות (bhoga) היא הלך מחשבה שאינו מבחין בין פורושה לבין מצב הטוהר [של התודעה], שכלל אינם ניתנים לערבוב. ידע הפורושה – על ידי סאמיאמה במטרתו שלו לעומת מטרת האחר
