स्थान्युपनिमंत्रणे संगस्मयाकरणं पुनरनिष्टप्रसंगात्

Sutra 3.51
Sthāny-upanimantraṇe saṅga-smayākaraṇaṁ punar aniṣhṭa-prasaṅgāt
sthāni : (of) well placed (celestial beings)
upa-nimantraṇe : upon invitation
saṁga : attachment, attraction
smaya : amazement
a-karaṇam : not doing
punar : again
aniṣhṭa : (of) undesirable
prasaṇgāt : (there being) a possibility of (re-)occurance
Sutra Meaning :
Upon receiving invitations from celestial beings (that he should join them in enjoying celestial pleasures) (he should) not respond with attraction (to those invitations and pleasures) or selfamazement because (otherwise there is) possible (danger) of (his falling back) again into undesirable (lower attractions).
सूत्र ३.५१
स्थान्युपनिमन्त्रणे सङ्गस्मयाकरणं पुनरनिष्टप्रसङ्गात्
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
स्थानि + उपनिमन्त्रणे : (लोकपाल, व इन्द्रादि) देवताओं द्वारा निमन्त्रित किये जाने पर
सङ्ग + स्मय + अकरणं : आसक्ति और अभिमान नहीं करना चाहिये
पुनर् : (ऐसा करने से) पुनः
अनिष्ट + प्रसङ्गात् : अनिष्ट होने की सम्भावना बनी रहती है॥
सूत्रार्थ –
(लोकपाल, व इन्द्रादि) देवताओं द्वारा निमन्त्रित किये जाने पर आसक्ति और अभिमान नहीं करना चाहिये (क्योंकि ऐसा करने से) पुनः अनिष्ट होने की सम्भावना बनी रहती है॥
Sutra 3.51
Sthāny-upanimantraṇe saṅga-smayākaraṇaṁ punar aniṣhṭa-prasaṅgāt
Sutra meaning :
Dopo aver ricevuto inviti da esseri celesti (che dovrebbe unirsi a loro nel godere i piaceri celesti) (dovrebbe) non rispondere con attrazione (a quegli inviti e piaceri) o di auto-stupore perché (altrimenti c’è) possibile (pericolo) di (il suo ripiegamento) di nuovo in indesiderabile (attrazioni inferiori).

Sutra meaning :
גם בעת [קבלת] קריאה מבעלי מעמד, אין עילה להיצמדות או ליהירות, בשל הנטייה [לנפילה] הבלתי רצויה והחוזרת על עצמה
