जातिलक्षणदेशैरन्यतानवच्छेदात् तुल्ययोस्ततः प्रतिपत्तिः

Sutra 3.53
Jāti-lakṣhaṇa-deśhair anyatā’navacchedāt tulyayos tataḥ pratipattiḥ
jāti : (by) genus
lakṣhaṇa : peculiarities of, particulars (and)
deśhaiḥ : locus
anyatā : (of) otherness
an-avaccedāt : through non-delimitation or demarcation
tulyayoḥ : of two (things) equal or similar
tataḥ : thereby
pratipattiḥ : determination
Sutra Meaning :
When between two similar objects there is no demarcation (to point to their) being different (other) as to their genus, peculiarities or locus, then they are determined only through (viveka) discriminatory wisdom.
सूत्र ३.५३
जातिलक्षणदेशैरन्यतानवच्छेदात् तुल्ययोस्ततः प्रतिपत्तिः
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
जाति + लक्षण + देशैः : जाति, लक्षण और देश के द्वारा
अन्यता + अनवच्छेदात् : भिन्नत्व का निश्चय न होने से
तुल्ययोः : दो समान प्रतीत होने वाली वस्तुओं के भिन्नत्व की
ततः : उस (विवेकजनित ज्ञान) से (ही)
प्रतिपत्तिः : उपलब्धि होती है॥
सूत्रार्थ –
जाति, लक्षण और देश के द्वारा भिन्नत्व का निश्चय न होने से/पर दो समान प्रतीत होने वाली वस्तुओं के भिन्नत्व की उस (विवेकजनित ज्ञान) से (ही) उपलब्धि होती है।

Sutra meaning :
Quando tra due oggetti simili non c’è demarcazione (per indicare il loro) essere diversi per quanto riguarda il loro genere, peculiarità o luogo, allora sono determinati solo attraverso (Viveka) saggezza discriminatoria.

אז, מתגלה ההבדל (anyata) בין אלו הזהים [לכאורה] על אף שאינם מובחנים על ידי לידה, זמן ומקום
