Tad api bahir-aṅgaṁ nir-bījasya
tat : that
api : too
bahir-aṅgaṁ : external
nir-bījasya : (in comparison with the) seedless (samādhi).
Sutra Meaning :
This (triad) too is external (as compared with the) seedless (samādhi).
सूत्र ३.८
तदपि बहिरङ्गं निर्बीजस्य
पदच्छेद एवं शब्दार्थ –
तत् + अपि : वे (अर्थात्, धारणा, ध्यान, और समाधि) भी
बहिर् + अंङ्गम् : बहिरङ्ग (साधन) हैं
निर्बीजस्य : निर्बीज (अर्थात्, असम्प्रज्ञात) समाधि के॥
सूत्रार्थ –
वे (अर्थात्, धारणा, ध्यान, और समाधि) भी निर्बीज (अर्थात्, असम्प्रज्ञात) समाधि के बहिरङ्ग (साधन) हैं।
